Midwest SIP Search Tool

Outlook integration with Midwest SIP

Configure Outlook to dial using Midwest SIP account using Windows SIPTAPI CTI application.

This page from IPCOM describes the integration and configuration. Click here

Make sure you download the free 1 SIP line version for testing.

Once you have the SIPTAPI application installed, add the following information to the configuration page:

Go to, control panel /  Phone and Modem / Advanced / SIPTAPI service provider / Configure

SIP Domain:  sip.midwestsip.com
User: (MidwestSIP service username)
Password: (MidwestSIP service password)

Once this is saved, you may launch Outlook and go to Contacts.

Right click on a contact and click Call Contact.

You may need to add a 1 to your dialing plan before the call will be placed.

Here is how it works: once you click (start call), your IP Phone will ring, answer the call, then the system will make a call to the callee, once the callee answers the call, the two legs of the call will be attached and you can begin your conversation.
