Local Grand Rapids VoIP firms, Midwest SIP and BBTelsys, have reached an agreement to convert all current BBTelsys VoIP customers over to Midwest SIP. BBTelsys is moving out of the VoIP segment to pursue new and different opportunities as of December 15, 2011.

Midwest SIP, a Grand Rapids Business VoIP provider, has intentions of expanding into the residential VoIP market with the sole purpose of providing good and reliable VoIP to BBTelsys existing customers.  We hope to honor the existing customer contracts and rates.

Note, that International calling for both business and residential customers will be the exception.  International calling will be charged on a per minute/per country basis going forward.

It is the wishes of both Midwest SIP and BBtelsys, that there will be as seamless a transition as possible for the BBTelsys customer base.  Future correspondence will be forthcoming over the next couple weeks regarding this transition.  Questions can be direct to BBTelsys customer service until the transitional control date of December 15, 2011.

Our feature sets are similar, so you should enjoy the same robust features you came to know with BBtelsys plus more.

Midwest SIP has a feature development agreement with the switch manufacturer.  This will result in extra features being added on occasion to future proof your current VoIP products and Services.
